We have been an open and affirming community for LGBTQ folks since 2000. As progressive Christians we take the Bible seriously, but not literally. We offer care for each other and promote peace and justice for all people.
For us the Bible is the central source of spiritual guidance, however it is not the only one. We find more grace in the search for understanding than we do in dogmatic certainty – more value in questioning than in absolutes.
We know that the way we behave toward one another and toward other people is the fullest expression of our communal faith journey.
We offer care for each other and promote peace and justice for all people.
We pledge to future generations to care for the earth. We honor with gratitude the traditional heartland of the Duwamish, Snoqualmie, and Sammamish people. We honor with gratitude the land itself as we care for our campus.
