We value music and believe it is an important aspect of the worship experience!  Our music program at Northshore is strong and vibrant!  We are fortunate to have many musically talented members.   We currently have a professional percussionist, a wonderful flutist, and several accomplished piano players.  We also just love singing together!  Our worship music consists of traditional hymns and anthems and recently we are incorporating contemporary songs which the church choir helps teach to the congregation.  At least once a month, we sing a beloved blessing called “You are the Face of God.”  We always end worship with a favorite closing benediction called “May God Be with You.”   

Come join us on Thursday evenings for choir practice from 7:30-8:45pm during September through June. We meet in the sanctuary and online via Zoom. Our chancel choir is led by Rob Mitchell, an accomplished singer himself who performs year-round in a local barbershop choir. His wife, Hannah Mitchell, an excellent pianist, accompanies the choir on the piano. Our wonderful chancel choir consists of about 10-14 people and new singers are always welcome.
